About Caroline

I provide individual and family therapy to clients of all ages dealing with a variety of issues. I utilize a myriad of models dependent on the therapeutic circumstances, including Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I also often incorporate elements of relevant neuroscience and mindfulness into my sessions.  I strive to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere where all clients feel comfortable sharing.

On my journey to becoming a therapist, I have worked with children and adolescents both in clinical settings and in educational environments. I have been able to intervene in the classroom with difficult behaviors and support children struggling with developmental delays, social and emotional challenges and interpersonal issues. Based on this experience and knowledge, I offer parent coaching sessions to support caretakers in raising happy and healthy children. I have been trained in both Positive Discipline and the Love and Logic program. I also worked at the National Counseling Group and The Boys Recovery Lodge at Phoenix House providing therapy for individuals and families. In these programs, I conducted daily sessions in the facility and in-home with clients of all ages and diagnoses to practice coping skills and de-escalation techniques during times of crisis. Through this work, I have extensive experience helping people make difficult decisions and navigating high stress situations in therapy sessions.
